Hello and welcome to our site, we are a UK based Living History Association who’s primary concern is maintaining a living memorial to those numerous brave man who served with the ‘LRRP’ Rangers of 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam war, between the years of 1965 to 1972.
Our aim is to vigorously research and portray as accurately as possible using only original uniforms, equipment, SOP’s and tactics that the soldiers of the Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols used during the Vietnam war and in particular the period towards the end of the conflict, specifically ‘L’ company ‘LRRP’ 101st Airborne’s (75th Inf) involvement in Vietnam between the years 1969-1972.
Our members have many personal reasons for joining the group. Some have a keen historical interest in the Vietnam conflict and some are already passionate Vietnam militaria collectors, others have an enthusiastic interest in the equipment and tactics used from the period, but for whatever reason and above all else our common goal is to share the knowledge learned and to remember and honour those who bravely fought for their country but never returned from the jungles of South Vietnam.
As our tribute to the fallen and living we attempt to set the highest possible standards in all areas of our portrayal from our uniforms and equipment to our informative public living history displays and battle re-enactments. As you will see from the pictures on our site, we attend many different and varied events throughout the season, from purely tactical weekends, to public displays; we've even taken part in work for many film and television documentaries in our mission to educate others.
So, if you have any questions or information that may be of significance or are interested in joining our group, you can either send us an email found on the ‘Contact us’ page or why not check out our events page and come along to our next show and drop by for a chat.
